19 years and counting...

Micheal was born in the San Francisco Bay area and spent his early years in the small surf town of Pacifica. The family moved to the foothills of California when he was ten. It was there, in the small town of Sonora, that he met his future wife Jodie. After graduation he began field surveying and designing civil engineering projects. He has worked for several engineering firms in Northern and Southern California.

We have been married since 1995 and have lived aboard our sailboat since moving to San Diego in 2001. With the support of our families and best wishes from our friends, we plan to sail around the world. We want to prove to ourselves that it's round. See ya soon!
