Location: San Diego, California.

Done. Thank goodness. Passed the second termite inspection. Jodie came up to help clean the house and we have placed her on the market. If anyone wants a nice home in the foothills of California, let me know. We will miss her when she's gone. We will also be very happy as we embark on this grand adventure.

Returned the borrowed truck to my parents in Sonora (Thank You!) and a quick flight back to San Diego. I have been slowly being dragged down by a cold and my body has finally given up. Crash. I'm exhausted and now sick.

8 days later... I'm back baby!

Jodie has done an excellent job of taking care of one of the biggest cry babies in the world, yours truly. Now I'm ready and it's time to get back to work and finish the boat. Many things to do, some big, some small, but all a cakewalk compared to rebuilding a house. Might become a handyman in my next-next life. But for now its Capt. Mike and First Mate Jodie sailing off into the wild blue yonder. Or the Channel Islands. Whatever. We plan on finishing and leaving after our friends, Jon R. and Alisa soon to be Mrs. R., wedding in April.
